Make Rugs! is a cozy tycoon by Playmade: roll for yarn, tuft a design, shave it smooth and sell it, then grow your little workshop into "a rug-making empire". It was created on October 7, 2026, and Playmade has listed three updates since October 17, with weekly Saturday patches planned.

How to play
- Roll for yarn. Each roll can give rare yarn and new colors.
- Pick a design and tuft it with your tufting tool.
- Shave the rug smooth for the finish.
- Sell it to customers in your shop, or complete orders from your in-game phone.
- Hire employees and expand the studio.

The game has two currencies, Cash and Gems (both sold in the Robux store), plus Enchant Tokens, which were added to the store on Oct 15. What enchanting does is not described in Roblox's public data. Unverified
Features added in updates
Playmade publishes patch notes as Roblox event listings. Here is what they confirm so far.
Delivery Van expansion (listed Oct 17)
- A new delivery yard behind your shop, unlocked with an expansion, with a van and a free driver.
- Send the van on supply runs to get crates of yarn. Each place has its own exclusive yarns.
- Fill contracts for buyers around the city to earn cash and reputation.
- Upgrade your van, engine and shelf in the Garage.
Showroom expansion (listed Oct 19)
- The Showroom: a private gallery above your shop with 13 frames, 5 of them for large rugs. You can name every rug you hang.
- Prestige: rarer rugs give more. Prestige makes customers pay up to +10% and celebrities visit up to 2x as often. The developer notes these buffs "are not set in stone yet".
- Packer worker: packs and sends accepted orders that you put in the rug cabinet.
- 5 new designs: Cat and Yarn, Corgi Pup, Cozy Teapot, Cat Nap (large) and Rocket Trip (large).
- A preview of your rug while you pick yarns, and Collection Book stamps for large rugs.
- Rugs in cabinets and on stands no longer count toward your 48-rug limit.
Already in the game before that update: celebrities who visit your shop, Tuftgram (weekly trends, celebrity shout-outs and a feed), 22 border colors and a custom color wheel, and settings for a luck cap and a yarn pick-up filter.
Saturday Patch (listed for Oct 24)
Planned so far: Dark Mode for the UI, Apprentices that prioritize orders, labels in cabinets and cabinet upgrades. Playmade is taking suggestions in its forums and Discord.

There are no Make Rugs! codes as of October 20, 2026. The description and all three sets of patch notes say nothing about codes, and the trackers we checked list none. If codes are added, the Saturday patch notes are the most likely place they will appear.
